Paul LaMarche unveiled his product, The Sky Rail, on HSN (the Home Shopping Network) on February 20, 2003. Early results of Paul, and his daughter Elaine's, HSN experience had them selling more than 2,000 units over what was expected and more things are happening every day for them!
A stackable, free standing unit used for organizing closets or displaying valuable collectors' items, The Sky Rail will be marketed as the "Store More System". This opportunity was a direct result of Paul and Elaine exhibiting at INPEX in 2002. The Sky Rail was the winner of the INPEX Grand Prix First Runner-Up Award as well as the Fox 40 Award. Through the efforts of the INPEX Communications Department, The Sky Rail was featured in the United Kingdom, where it made the "Best Inventions" December 11, 2002 segment of the BBC One's TOMORROW'S WORLD.
Along with other past INPEX exhibitors, Paul and Elaine were recently invited to exhibit alongside INPEX at the 2003 International Housewares Show in Chicago, IL. Billed as the world's largest housewares audience, Paul had this to say about his experience there:
"As we approached our second year at attending the Pittsburgh inventors show, Sky Rail Storage Dynamics LLC was privileged to be asked in joining the INPEX road crew. This group had asked us if we could attend one of the largest trade shows in the world, the 2003 International Housewares Show at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL. This is a major international event. We welcomed the opportunity and were very happy to attend. It proved to be far better than even our best expectations."
Also participating in the INPEX booth at the Housewares Show were Ed Kurpieski of the "Bear Back Scratcher", a two time INPEX exhibitor, and 2002 exhibitors Mr. & Mrs. Andrew Bartosik, who displayed their "Four Pocket Beach Towel". Look for all three inventions at INPEX May 14-17, 2003.
