INPEX® Inventors Community - Exhibitors Newsletter

INPEX® On The Road!

INPEX attempts to broaden its contacts by both exhibiting at and attending national and international industry trade shows. These events are targeted networking opportunities where you have the chance to meet inventors from all walks of life as well as industry executives who are searching for new products.

Where INPEX has been...

INPEX has just returned from Chicago, Illinois where representatives Amanda Lindsay and Susan Kundla exhibited at the National Hardware Show in conjunction with International Hardware Week at McCormick Place. Billed as the hardware/home improvement industry’s leading trade show, retail industry executives, merchandising and purchasing teams and wholesalers and distributors from around the globe have come to The National Hardware Show for 57 years to look for the new products they need to stay competitive and grow their businesses. The INPEX booth showcased the new product ideas of six past INPEX exhibitors. Featured were: D. Bozzo with the Handle Light, K. Blessing with the Multi-Component Lawn/Garden Handle, P. LaMarche with the Sky-Rail Storage System, T. Skeens with the Detachable T-Bar Ratchet, W. Schaefer with the Lintvac and L. Smith with the B & B Load Bar.

Where INPEX is headed...

Continuing an eleven-year tradition, INPEX representatives will attend the IENA International Exposition held in Nuremberg, Germany in November. IENA features invention exhibitors from countries such as Austria, Poland, Germany, Switzerland, Israel, Turkey, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Korea, Taiwan and China.

"IENA is a great show. It's well run and highly respected," said Jennifer Lawlor, INPEX Director. "If you are interested in exploring European markets this could be the show for your invention!"

In 2002, Lawlor was pleased to present an INPEX Award of Excellence to Swiss inventor Otto F. Morger at IENA. As a part of the award, Morger received a complimentary booth at the INPEX 2003 show, where he went on to win the Grand Prix Second Runner-Up Prize of $1,000. Morger's invention detects faulty postures by measuring and calculating precise deviations in the symmetry between the left and right side of the human body. Another example of how INPEX is bridging the gap between innovators all over the world!

INPEX will also be exhibiting at Eureka! in Brussels, Belguim. Eureka! runs from November 6-13, 2003.
