INPEX® Inventors University™ & Inventor Resource Center

Romanus Wolter presented his "Kick Start" workshop at the 2004 INPEX Inventors UniversityExhibitors who come to INPEX, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, have many inventor resources available to help them with their ideas. These inventor resources can also be beneficial to business attendees. For example, attendees may sit in on a university seminar to learn about offshore manufacturing. Attendees can also participate as a presenter and help an inventor down the path of entrepreneurship. INPEX offers programs to suit many needs.

The following is a list of inventor resources available at INPEX:

INPEX Inventors University: A series of programs, seminars, presentations and panel discussions to help inventors and entrepreneurs learn more about how to pursue their ideas. Past programs have ranged from informational seminars on intellectual property laws and direct response TV marketing to motivational presentations by Romanus Wolter, Entrepreneur Magazine's "The Kick Start Guy," and Art Fry, the inventor of Post-it Notes.

Inventor Resource Center: Inventors and business professionals meet face-to-face to discuss the topics specific to the exhibitor's particular invention. Past participants have included the Small Business Administration, marketing and manufacturing professionals and various small business development centers.

Intellectual Property Pavilion (NEW!): Professionals in the patenting, trademarking and copyrighting fields answer exhibitors' questions about protecting their intellectual property.

Invention Prototyping Pavilion: This pavilion is manned by experts in engineering, prototyping and product design who are able to offer some insight on topics such as rapid prototyping, virtual prototyping and packaging.

Contract Manufacturing Pavilion (NEW!): Domestic and off-shore manufacturers in various industries meet with inventors to field questions, offer advice and make contacts.
