Preview of Inventions at INPEX® 2005
With more than 1,000 innovations in 20 different product categories, business and industry attendees come to INPEX to learn what new ideas are available. The list of products that will be showcased at INPEX June 8-11, 2005 at the Pittsburgh ExpoMart continues to grow.
The following is a sampling of inventions scheduled to be exhibited at INPEX 2005:
Advertising
- Parking Lot Changeable Advertising Bumper – Stopper that would replace conventional car stoppers in mall or grocery store parking lots; would include changeable advertising space.
- FlyaDISC – The safe, new way to distribute CDs and DVDs. It is a soft safety rim that protects the consumer and the disc.
Aeronautics
- Multi Fault Tolerant, Ultra Energy Saving, Ultra Fast, Triple Rotors VTOL Heli-Linn – This triple-rotor, heli-linn copter could be a ultra-light, futuristic, personal air car; could fly and land anywhere, according to the inventor.
Agriculture
- AGRO-DOALL – Portable three-point hitch that could convert a truck or trailer into a category 1 tractor.
Animal Care
- Bully Bather – A portable restraint for use while bathing a dog. Could be used in a bathtub or on a smooth surface.
- Pet Ramp – A ramp for small dogs and pets to climb onto and off of the furniture with ease; could be produced to match the room's décor.
- Kool Dogz Ice Treat Maker – A form of entertainment for dogs that consists of freezing their treats and toys in a block of ice.
Apparel / Accessories
- The Clocketbook – A pocketbook with a working clock. Could be used as a purse, tool for the visually impaired and teach children to tell time.
- S&J Shoe Glove™ – A stylish shoe cover that would fit over a woman's high heel to protect it from inclement weather; would be available in many different styles and colors.
- Browning's Christmas Tree Stand Cover – A cover that would conceal the tree stand and tree light cords; could be produced in many sizes for different-sized tree stands.
- Slip Ons Collection – Spandex shoe covers could transform one pair of shoes into 10 different styles.
Arts & Crafts
- The RAK – A Multi-task workstation for artists and designers that can be used for drafting, drawing, sculpture, painting, graphic design and other features as the user sees fit.
- USA Emblem Flag Pole Holder – A PVC-plastic flag pole holder featuring the Great Seal of the United States.
- Knit Stix – Markings on needles make rulers, tape measures, etc. unnecessary.
- My Own Cool Magnets – A children's craft kit for making colorful magnetic photo holders.
- Boudoir Babies – This decorative doll may be clothed in a variety of ways and can be used to store money, candy, tissue or potpourri.
Automotive
- Kameleon Grille – A grille for the front of an automobile that would change colors; could also provide better visibility for drivers in bad weather conditions.
- Heated Wiper System – A heated wiper system that would help prevent the windshield and windshield wipers from freezing when driving in bad weather conditions.
- Magnetizer Technologies – Magnetohydrodynamic technology could reduce fuel costs, reduce pollution, and condition water.
- Tail Bright Light Bar – A light bar with full functioning brake, clearance, directional and hazard lights. Created to enhance the look of a vehicle, along with added visibility for safety.
Bath / Plumbing
- Instant Hot Water Circulator – A unit that would conserve water by keeping water hot at the faucets at all times via natural circulation; could save heat, water and money.
- Adjustable Grip Shower Shelf™ – Adjustable shower shelf would sit atop of a shower wall, door or rod and would hold all necessary shower items; could adjust to the width of any shower.
- The Sani-Handle – A sanitary device that would prevent a user from having to touch the toilet seat and lid when going to the restroom.
- The DROPS by Toilex – Add a few drops to the toilet bowl water immediately before use to eliminate foul, embarrassing bathroom odor before it begins.
- Toilet Air Purification System – A system that reduces odor and bacteria in the toilet; also helps to reduce the spread of bacteria in bathrooms.

- Counter Surface Cleaning Shelf – An alternative product that could be used to help clean a kitchen or bath counter surface; could help clean surfaces better, according to the inventor.

- Little Fingers Computer Keyboard – Small-scale keyboard could help children and adults with small hands to type more efficiently.
Construction
- Shop Pockets Work Vest – Utility work vest allows user to attach their own tool pouches to ventilated vest, eliminating discomfort that comes with tool belts and suspenders.
- The Slow and Safe Stop – A hand-held stop sign that would use flashing strobe lights to alert motorists to potential hazards.
- The Universal Support Pod – The portable stand would hold almost any vertical or horizontal object; durable, yet lightweight design could make for easy lifting.
- Grease Saver – A container that would attach to the side of a vehicle or piece of machinery to keep grease-gun cartridges close at hand, undamaged and contaminant-free.
- Slim Line-Up Clamps – Carbon steel clamps would allow pipefittings to be aligned quickly and by only one person.
- Heat-Dissipating I-Beam A modified I-beam that could help to prevent buildings from falling when on fire; could save lives, according to the inventor.
- Sporty and Casual Dress Hard Hat – Headgear that is both protective and fashionable.
- Crosco Services Cart – Unit that could transport chain hoists and other large, heavy tools to and froma construction site.

- Decorative Plug Interrupter – Device designed to add CFCI protection to any existing outlet.
- Touchtell™ – Power Cord Voltage Indicator – This device would wrap around the power cord to show the presence or absence of voltage or "liveness" of a power cord; would benefit homeowners, commercial users and industrial users.
- First Escape™ Smoke Alarm System – The dual technology of a smoke alarm and bedside receiver would make fire detection up to five times faster.
- DV-Grip IR – A mounting system for portable DVD players that includes wireless headphone technology for added convenience.
- DV-Grip – A mounting system for portable DVD players that fits vehicles with adjustable front seat head restraints.
- Valet Pro™ – A 2-way, on-site paging device that would enable customers to contact a business with the push of a button; would be ideal for valet parking businesses.
- Wire Connection Product – A new alternative that would connect electrical wires; would eliminate the complexity of the conventional system.
- Load Controlled Battery Charging Device – A battery charger that could charge any battery, regardless of the voltage; would be less expensive to manufacture, according to the inventor.
Education
- Bowman's Flight Aid – Pocket size aircraft cockpit instrument panel with moveable instruments so all aspects of flying can be taught on the ground (Booklet included).
- Cmetrick™ – Mechanical puzzle that could develop math skills and critical thinking.
Engineering
- Unigy High Efficiency Pump System – System would improve the efficiency and performance of a hydraulic system and reduce operating and installation costs.
- N7S 8000 Coin Verifier – Machine that could process and sort 4,500 coins per minute.
- Cyclocharger – Engine component that can generate more horsepower and fuel efficiency in a vehicle.
Food & Beverage
- MJL Inserts – Inserts for water coolers that would separate the beverages, ice, and water and keep the cooler sanitary.
- Twins – A soda can that could divide the contents in half allowing for fresher, smaller servings; one or two different beverages could be stored in one can.
- The Pump-Stir Cup – A cup with a self-cleaning pump included that can stir hot or cold beverages. The cup can be customized to suit the users preferences.

- Spiderlegs Tables – Handcrafted, wooden tables with a folding design that is easy to store and transport.
Gadgets
- Cellphone Saver – A device to save a cell phone from dropping to the ground or being stolen.
- Bang Bags – Amusement toy that makes a loud popping noise when hit with a hammer or stomped on.
- N7S Napkin Strap Machine – Machine that speeds up the production process of wrapping silverware.

- The Pool Caddy – A wall-mounted organizer constructed of UV-protected ABS plastic that keeps hoses, brushes, nets and other pool equipment neat, tidy and off the ground.
- Browning's Christmas Tree Stand Cover – A decorative, functional cover for a Christmas tree stand.
- The Footle – An attachment for sliding screen doors that would allow them to be opened and closed with a foot when the user’s hands are full.
- Easy Dump Trash Can – A garbage can with a removable bottom. It could make it easier to empty the trash can without the bag getting stuck or ripped.

- E-Z Start Fire Starters – Waterproof kindling agent for grills, stoves and fireplaces that will not spoil the taste of food.

- Perfect Picture Hanger – A device that allows paintings, mirrors and other wall decorations to be accurately hung and adjusted without making more than one hole in the wall.
- Rhino™ Pry Bar – Interchangeable prying tips and handles would allow this pry bar to be adaptable for many applications. It is designed to apply prying force smoothly and easily.
- TayZac's Level Clamp – Construction accessory that would hold a common level to a joist, stud, pipe or other construction member, thereby freeing the user's hands to anchor and align the piece.
- Universal Support Pod – A tripod-like support system.
- Larsen-Loc – New fastener design unyielding to vibration and additional factors which often loosen nuts and bolts.
- Shop Pockets – A utility vest designed to replace standard tool belts.
- Dissipation of Heat for Construction – A construction method that would maintain strength of beams during a fire.
- Hurricane Window Fasteners – Plastic fasteners that would assist the user in hanging plywood over the windows of their house to prepare for a storm. The fasteners would not put holes in the building.
- Mobile Workshop – Portable workshop that could be moved with an individual as they work on different projects around the house; would fit together for easy storage.
- Nail Holding Product – A device that would hold nails and screws prior to insertion into a wall or surface; could save someone time and frustration, according to the inventor.
- Staple Master – An accessory for a tool belt that would help protect staples from breaking; could include space for an accessory knife and a staple tacker.
- Cyclocharger – Engine component that can generate more horsepower and fuel efficiency in a vehicle.

- Tandem Four Gym – Device for body toning, heavy-duty body building, and physical therapy.
- The Truck Gym – A gym that would give drivers the opportunity to establish a regular exercise program while on the road.
- Spokiz – Fashionable eyewear that will stay on the user's head while they participate in their favorite activities. Glasses are suitable for children or any active person.
- Pill Box (Safe and Simple) – "Medicine and vitamin organizer" that makes it easier and safer to dispense the correct number of pills at the correct time of day.
- 360 Curl Bar – Weightlifting bar that would allow the hands to work independently; would not allow user to "cheat" during their workout.

- The Angel Hug – Infant outwear designed for parents on the go.
- Sippy Leash – A designer leash that tethers a sippy cup to a high chair or car seat.
- Bizzi Bibbi – Bib that holds various baby products and keeps products clean while allowing the baby and caretaker easy access.
- Angel Hugs – Garment that allows infants to be safely and comfortably placed in a car seat, stroller, etc.; also provides privacy for a mother while nursing.
- GOTCHA – Securing device that would keep a baby safe and still while changing his or her diaper.

- Driving Safety Anti-Blind Proximity View E-Mirrors With Owl's Eye Actual View Cameras – This panoramic, proximity safety view system would enable a driver to look forward while backing up; could help eliminate accidents due to blind spots.
Miscellaneous
- Tru Angle – A tool for a table saw that would make it possible to change the angle of the guide, not the saw blade, when trying to cut angles other than 90 degrees.
