Romanus Wolter Q&A

What was your favorite part about INPEX 2004?
"My favorite part of INPEX 2004 was watching the transformation of the inventors who exhibited. At the beginning of the show, they believed they had a good product and were hoping that someone would help them move to the next level. What I saw was, as the inventors told distributors, buyers and others about their product, their confidence soared. I loved looking in their eyes and seeing that they believed in themselves and their products."

What do you get out of coming to INPEX?
"I find that the people, resources and passion available at INPEX truly change people. It is a fantastic resource for anyone with an invention or new product."

What do you hope exhibitors will get out of your presentation?
"I will teach the action steps they need to create a script that will inspire other people to help them achieve their goals. If others are inspired to help them, they can let them know what works and what doesn't, and they can provide the inventor with contacts who might also be able to help them."

What are three traits that every inventor should have?
"Passion, Passion, Passion – you have to love what you are creating. It is a lot of hard work and your passion keeps you going when the times get tough. Passion also inspires people to help you achieve your goals."

What invention could you not live without?
"Right now the electric screwdriver. I am renovating my home and use it to replace light fixtures, switches, install baseboards, etc. It is a miracle tool."
