On Monday, March 17, 2008, the InventHelp®/INPEX® Inventors Corner Pavilion, in conjunction with the Housewares Show, hosted a "Pitch to the Pros" Inventor Review and contest. The goal was to give inventors who are trying to introduce their new products to industry a chance to present it to experts in the Housewares industry, get constructive feedback and have the chance to be named the overall "best invention" and win a prize package.
There were eight experts who acted as judges to review products. The inventors had approximately 5-8 minutes to present their idea, receive feedback and to be graded by the judges. At the end of the review, all the scores were tabulated and an overall winner was selected.
This year, the winner was Mark Joseph and his invention the Z-Hanger. The Z-Hanger features a unique Z-shaped hook that eliminates unbuttoning collared shirts or stretching out the neck of your favorite shirts and sweaters.
Joseph's prize package consisted of a free booth and hotel accommodations at INPEX 2008.
