Rock Bottom Slots Hit Jackpot

Rock Bottom SlotsThe casino industry is quickly growing as a form of entertainment for adults of all ages. Millions of Americans drive to local Indian resorts, take trips on casino riverboats, or travel to Atlantic City and Las Vegas, two of the country's gambling destinations every year. In fact, casinos have become so popular in the past decade that now there are even reality shows and sitcoms that seek audiences who are intrigued by the fast-pace, high-risk, bright-light, loud-noise gambling environment.

Robert Storment exhibited at INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, in 2003. INPEX is a unique exposition showcasing numerous inventions, new products and innovations available to business and industry. Storment came with an authentic product that could turn a home or office into a personal gaming paradise. And best of all, unlike playing in casinos, the players of his slots would never lose a penny.

Storment's products, Rock Bottom Slots, are refurbished slot machines from Japanese casinos. Storment was first approached by a representative of the Japanese casino industry who wanted his company, Super Auctions, to use their client base in North America to distribute the machines. He began distributing them along with other gaming equipment. However, Storment knew he could take the Rock Bottom Slots product further.

At INPEX, Storment's product drew the attention of exhibitors and attendees by asking them to literally take a chance on his slot machines.

An employee of Reliant International Media "took a chance" and played the slot machine during his first day at INPEX. "One of our staff recognized that the slot machine was an entertaining product in a fun category with good concept," said Reliant International President Tim Harrington. "Then, we got the details on the product; the benefits, features and cost and it was not long before we scheduled a meeting to negotiate the rights." A contract was drawn up as a joint venture between the two companies.

Reliant International Media is a venture-capital marketing company that funds inventors' ideas from start to finish. "We fund marketing, manufacturing, and in many cases media retail distribution," said Harrington. "We invest and take risks in products we believe in."

Storment signed a deal with Reliant International Media. They bought the product and created a 28-minute infomercial for Rock Bottom Slots that aired across the United States just five months after Storment attended INPEX.

"We were able to market the idea because we could offer the slots at a phenomenal value," said Harrington. The slots are valued at $3500. However, because of competition and the constant influx of new gaming machines, slot machines have a shelf life of about six months. Reliant International bought the Japanese machines, refurbished them and sold them at a price that almost everyone could afford. The current retail price of a Rock Bottom Slot machine is $299.99.

Harrington and Reliant International have attended INPEX for over 10 years. "Our INPEX experience has been great. We have found numerous products that we take to shopping networks and magazines," said Harrington.

Reliant International introduces products to outlets such as QVC, the Home Shopping Network, Harriet Carter and Publishers Clearinghouse.

Rock Bottom Slots are currently being sold through infomercials and various web sites. In addition, Reliant International Media shot a second infomercial that will air in both the United States and Europe. Storment thanks INPEX for the opportunities he has received due to the show and recommends INPEX to all inventors. "It is a great show to go to if you're an inventor because it provides a wealth of networking opportunities."
