Minnesota Inventor to Exhibit "Alpha Numeric Beads" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Jerome Day, from Minneapolis, Minn., has invented educational jewelry for kids. This patent-pending invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

One of the major challenges of educating children is finding new and innovative ways to engage them. The "Alpha Numeric Beads" would provide children of all ages with a fun and creative learning tool. Along with helping kids learn letters and numbers, this innovative toy also could enable them to work on different craft projects and make a wide variety of wearable fashion accessories.

The "Alpha Numeric Beads" would consist of bubble-shaped letters and numbers that measure 1/2 inch high and 1/2 inch wide. Each bead would feature an opening in the middle that goes from the top to the bottom, and is large enough to fit a string or wire. Children could fashion different pieces of jewelry, such as necklaces and bracelets, or make other crafts using the beads to spell out words or create designs.

The inventor was inspired to invent the Alpha Numeric Beads by his young daughter. "The idea came about when my little girl was 2 years old and I was trying to braid her hair and puts bead in. She had a set of beads that she loved playing with," he said. "I figured why not make the beads educational so kids can learn while they play with them."

Day is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding buyers, marketing or advertising.

INPEX®, The Invention Show, is a unique trade show that showcases new products and innovations that are available to business and industry to manufacture, license or distribute. As part of the event, The Invention Show sponsors INPEX Inventors University™, a series of seminars, presentations, and panel discussions to provide information that inventors may find useful in pursuing their ideas.
