North Carolina Inventor to Exhibit "ASKEW!™" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Steve Herbolich, from Greensboro, N.C., has invented a new strategy game ideal for parties and family gatherings. This patented invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

"ASKEW!™" offers a great way to get a group of people to relax, talk and have fun. This exciting construction game can be played with up to four players, and is challenging for people of all ages. The game requires players to intuitively consider the laws of physics, which helps to reinforce the principles of gravity and balance to children. Additionally, ASKEW!™ enables people to create new, visually appealing designs each time they play.

Produced in the United States by Raleigh Lions Clinic for the Blind, each game set consists of a base unit made from wood and steel, and a multitude of different colored plastic rods. During the game, the players create a suspended structure by taking turns hanging the indented rods from the base. Each new piece that is hung will completely change the center of gravity, shifting the entire structure and possibly causing it to topple. The first player to hang all of his or her pieces wins. The inventor is currently selling ASKEW!™ in specialty toy and gift stores. (Suggested Retail Price: $26.95)

The inventor's lifelong interest in games inspired him to invent ASKEW!™. "I wanted to create a new game that was not only mentally challenging, but visually interesting as well," he said.

Herbolich is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a distributor, licensee or venture capital.
