Illinois Inventors to Exhibit "Clock the Hip-Hop Stars" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that David and Tiffini King, from Lynwood, Ill., have invented a series of clocks that would incorporate rap and rhythm and blues (R&B) music. This invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

Capitalizing on the popularity of hip-hop music, "Clock the Hip-Hop Stars" could provide people with a little musical entertainment as they tell the time. A modern variation on the chiming clock, this device would give people a reason to throw their hands up and shake their hips every hour. Additionally, Clock the Hip-Hop Stars could feature some of the hottest songs and artists in rap and R&B.

Measuring 11-1/2 inches in diameter and weighing less than 2 pounds, this round wall clock would feature the image and music of some of today's most popular hip-hop artists. Producible in a variety of different colors including silver, gold and black, the face of the clock would feature a noted hip-hop star's image in the center and hour markers around the edges. On the hour, the device would play a portion of one of the artist's songs and display the name of the song and the artist. Alternately, the clock also could play a mix of various artists and songs, displaying different images for each one.

The inventors came up with the idea for Clock the Hip-Hop Stars based on their love of hip-hop. "The idea originally came to me in a dream," one inventor said. "And it made sense to me as a hip-hop fan to provide another fun way to get the music out there - just like ring tones did a few years ago."

The Kings are exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a manufacturer, distributor, licensee, importer/exporter or venture capital.
