Florida Inventor to Exhibit "DreamBox™" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Allison Perfecto and Judy Hodes, from Sunrise, Fla., have invented a bedtime accessory for parents to help their children fall asleep easier. This invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

Bedtime can be a troubling time for parents, as most children don't want to, or can't, go to sleep. The "DreamBox™" would help to promote positive interaction between children and parents at bedtime, and would also help foster a child's sense of security. The invention would encourage the children to look forward to bedtime and eliminate fears of the dark or other difficulties associated with going to sleep.

The DreamBox™ would contain 31 cards with a colorful dream illustration on one side, and the corresponding dream text on the other side. A cloth "dream pouch" would also be included, as well as blank cards for children to draw and make up their own dreams. To use, a child would choose a dream card, read and discuss the card with their parent, then place the dream card in the special dream pouch and put it under their pillow. A different card could be selected each night.

The inventors came up with the idea from personal experience. "My daughter had difficulty falling asleep," said Perfecto. "I have used this invention with all of my children, and it works great."

Perfecto and Hodes are exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a manufacturer, distributor, venture capital or a licensee.
