Ohio Inventor to Exhibit "The Evaporator" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Floyd A. Bucklew, from Lorain, Ohio, has invented a new way to keep sidewalks free from ice. This invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

"The Evaporator" would eliminate the strains, aches and pains associated with shoveling snow. This device also could help to keep driveways and sidewalks free of slippery ice that can lead to injuries. Additionally, The Evaporator would provide a convenient alternative to constantly spreading salt, sand or other substances to melt ice.

The main component of The Evaporator would be an oblong torpedo heater that would measure approximately 24 inches long and weigh 180 pounds. A sheet metal attachment to the heater would be conformed in a way to evaporate snow and ice from a sidewalk or driveway. In wintry conditions, a person would place the device in a desired area to clear off any snowfall, frost or ice that has accumulated.

The inventor came up with the idea for The Evaporator to solve a common wintertime problem. "I just got tired of overexerting myself shoveling snow and chipping ice," he said. "I designed this device to make getting rid of snow and ice a much quicker and easier process."

Bucklew is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a manufacturer, distributor or licensee.
