Minnesota Inventor to Exhibit "PillowNotes" at America's Largest Invention Show
PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Kyrsten Braun from St. Paul, Minn., has invented a decorative pillow that includes a desktop. This invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.
PillowNotes™ provide people with a convenient place to write down their thoughts, ideas, dreams and important reminders at any time - even in the middle of the night. Instead of having to get out of bed, turn on a light and search for a notepad and pen to write something down, PillowNotes give people easy access to all the tools they need to quickly jot down notes. By eliminating the hassles of note taking, this accessory can help to relieve people of the mental clutter that often causes anxiety and sleeplessness. In addition, this invention also serves as a fully functional, decorative pillow.
Made from a faux micro-suede leather material on the outside and a sturdy, washable nylon on the inside, PillowNotes have the appearance of typical decorative pillows for beds or couches. However, these pillows can be snapped open to reveal a notebook, pen and snake light inside. A special pocket is also included to store a small book, replacement notepad or other item. If a thought occurs to a person in the middle of the night, he or she can just grab the pillow, open it up, write down the idea and go back to sleep. Currently, PillowNotes are available in five colors: burgundy, black, brown, beige and blue.
Fittingly, the inventor first came up with the idea for PillowNotes in the middle of the night. "The idea entered my head when I was trying to get to sleep," she explains. "I laid there for at least an hour, thinking about my invention and hoping I'd remember it in the morning, before I finally got the motivation to get out of bed and write it down."
Braun is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a distributor or licensee.
INPEX®, The Invention Show, is a unique trade show that showcases new products and innovations that are available to business and industry to manufacture, license or distribute. As part of the event, The Invention Show sponsors INPEX Inventors University™, a series of seminars, presentations, and panel discussions to provide information that inventors may find useful in pursuing their ideas. This year's sponsors include Mainland China Direct, LLC, a company that produces, designs and manufactures original design products for the North American, European and Japan markets.
