North Carolina Inventors to Exhibit "Raeford's Reel" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that James and Jeronza Raeford, from Davidson, N.C., have invented an apparatus for arranging electrical cords. This patented invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

In a workplace like a barbershop or salon, the abundance of hanging cords from different appliances can create a real danger. "Raeford's Reel" would contribute to a safer work environment by eliminating those loose and tangled cords. This convenient accessory also could give a room with a lot of electrical devices a neater, less cluttered appearance.

Ideal for use by barbers, beauticians, contractors and homeowners, Raeford's Reel would measure 5 square inches and weigh approximately 10 pounds. This retractable accessory could neatly arrange and store cords for a wide variety of different home and industrial appliances. For use, a person would place cords into the apparatus to keep them organized and untangled.

One of the inventors was inspired to invent Raeford's Reel based on his experiences in the workplace. "Being a barber for 52 years, I was constantly dealing with working environments littered with tangled cords," James said. "I designed Raeford's Reel to help eliminate that hazard."

The Raefords are exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a manufacturer, distributor, licensee or venture capital.
