Washington Inventor to Exhibit "Skateboard Carrying Rack For Bikes" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Sean Nemec, from Spokane Valley, Wash., has invented an easy way to carry a skateboard while riding a bike. This invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

The "Skateboard Carrying Rack For Bikes" would be a safe and easy way to carry a skateboard while riding a bike. It would eliminate the need to wear a backpack in order to transport the skateboard, and could help prevent injuries when children use one hand to ride because they are carrying their board in the other hand. According to the inventor, a young boy told him that it also makes him look "cool" because it shows off the graphics on his skateboard.

The invention would be a lightweight metal rack that would mount vertically to the front axle bolt of the bike. The Skateboard Carrying Rack For Bikes would feature a bungee cord system that could hold the board in place while riding. In addition, it would keep the bike's center of gravity low for safe riding. Adjustable to fit most bikes, the invention would allow the skateboard to be attached or removed from the bike easily.

The inventor came up with the idea from watching a boy ride his bike with his skateboard. "I actually saw him riding to the skate park with his skateboard bungeed to the handlebars of his bike," he said. "I knew that there had to be a safer and easier way to transport a skateboard."
