California Inventor to Exhibit "Tethered Fortune" - A New Party Decoration - at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Fernita Craig, from Bakersfield, Calif., has invented a multipurpose party decoration that enhances a party's theme and décor. This patented invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

The "Tethered Fortune" enhances the physical appearance of a cake, place setting, wine glass, serving dish or another party accessory. It also provides guests with a party favor from the occasion, is a great conversation piece and can be used to encourage guests' creativity. It can be used at birthday parties, wedding showers, weddings, baby showers or other special occasion parties.

The invention would be made of plastic, ribbon, a small charm and a paper message. The host of the party lays the charm end toward the cake, and inserts the charm end into the cake until the ribbon is the only part sticking out. People can then pull the fortune out of the cake and take the Tethered Fortune with them as a party favor.

The inventor came up with the idea from witnessing a similar product at a party. "I thought that this design could be improved upon," Ms. Craig said. "I have used it at parties to embellish standard cakes and I have received positive feedback from party guests."

Ms. Craig is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a manufacturer, distributor, venture capital or licensee.
