New Jersey Inventor to Exhibit The "Toothbrush Turtle™" at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that William Tooma, from North Arlington, N.J., has invented a new toothbrush holder designed to keep toothbrushes sanitary. This patented invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

According to a 1975 study, dentists recommend that individuals keep their toothbrushes at least six feet away from toilets and wash basins. The "Toothbrush Turtle™" would store the bristles of a toothbrush underneath a protective, plastic covering. It would help to keep the toothbrush sanitary and ready for use, and could prevent the spread of germs from the toilet or other contaminates in the air. It is also large enough to incorporate electric toothbrushes or toothbrushes with rounded necks or large bristle heads. It could be used in the home or while traveling.

Made of a durable plastic, the Toothbrush Turtle™ would measure 2 1/2 inches high and 3 inches wide. It resembles a turtle's shell by its round shape or design, and could hold up to three toothbrushes at one time. To use, a person would simply snap open the "shell" and pull out their toothbrush. When finished brushing, they could place their toothbrush back in the slot, and close the lid. Easy to install, the Toothbrush Turtle™ could be mounted to the wall or a mirror with mounting tape.

The inventor came up with the idea for the Toothbrush Turtle™ because of his stay in a hotel. "I asked if I could have a toothbrush holder, and I was told 'no' by the hotel staff," he said. "I thought about how many germs could contaminate my toothbrush, and I decided to come up with a solution."

Tooma is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a distributor, venture capital, licensee and importer/exporter.
