Oklahoma Inventor to Exhibit the "uRuLax Shield™" for Hair Dryers at America's Largest Invention Show

PITTSBURGH... INPEX®, America's Largest Invention Trade Show, announces that Rose Hardwick, from Tulsa, Okla., has invented a heat deflector shield for use with a hooded hair dryer. This patent-pending invention will be exhibited at INPEX®, June 6-9, in Pittsburgh.

The "uRuLax Shield™" would deflect the heat from a hooded hair dryer off of the face, ears and neck of the user. This invention could help to give an individual a comfortable experience while getting their hair dried. The curved design of the shield would send the heat back toward the hair, thereby drying the hair faster.

The invention could contour to the head, could withstand high levels of heat and would absorb moisture while drying. The one-piece unit would simply be placed around the user's head, resting at the hairline. It could be reusable and re-washable. Made of a soft, resilient material, the uRuLax Shield™ requires no assembly.

The inventor came up with the idea for the uRuLax Shield™ because of the many hooded hair dryers already on the market. "For 69 years, inventors have worked on a solution to this problem, and finally you can RELAX," she said. "I have used my invention for about four years, and it works really well at deflecting the heat from my face, ears and neck."

Hardwick is exhibiting at INPEX® with the hopes of finding a distributor.
