INPEX 2017 Product Search Companies

Each year, INPEX has the privilege of working with a number of well-known companies that sign on to conduct private product searches during the annual show. These “Shark Tank-like” pitch opportunities provide companies with a chance to meet one-on-one with inventors of products relevant to their product line.

We are thrilled to introduce you to the companies that will be participating in private product searches at the 32nd annual INPEX show:

HSN:
As part of HSN’s American Dreams initiative – a program designed to cultivate entrepreneurs and introduce innovative new products to the marketplace – HSN is hosting an exclusive search at INPEX to find America’s next great product. HSN will bring inventors the chance to pitch their product to a panel of judges for the opportunity to be featured on HSN and introduce their product to HSN’s 92 million households.

Cuisinart:
At Cuisinart®, helping consumers “Savor the Good Life®” is the goal. The prestigious Cuisinart brand is not limited to food processors. Plugged or unplugged, nobody covers the kitchen like Cuisinart. The company is a full-service culinary resource with a wide array of products, preferred by chefs and favored by consumers.

Ace Hardware:
For more than 90 years, Ace Hardware has been known as the place with the helpful hardware folks in thousands of neighborhoods across America, providing customers with a more personal kind of helpful. In 2016, Ace ranked "Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores, Ten Years in a Row," according to J.D. Power. With more than 5,000 hardware stores locally owned and operated across the globe, Ace is the largest retailer-owned hardware cooperative in the world.

George Foreman Jr. NextGen
Growing up in the world of sports, direct marketing, and retail sales, George Foreman Jr. has developed an extensive working knowledge of these industries, along with strong relationships with key players of each respective industry.  With the presence of his mentor and father George Foreman, marketing consumer products was a natural for the Foreman family and George Jr. continues to operate in this arena.

Allstar Products Group:
Allstar is an independently-owned, vertically integrated company and the company behind many consumer favorite brands, such as Snuggie®, Perfect Brownie®, and Bumpits®. Since Allstar’s inception in 1999, they have emerged to become a leading consumer branded products company by effectively utilizing direct response television marketing.

Retail Products Group:
RPG was first established in 1978 to produce, source and distribute retail products with a primary focus on pet care products. Today, RPG’s product assortment includes pet products, household cleaning products, baby products and many others.

Schroeder & Tremayne:
Schroeder & Tremayne markets products to mass, drug, grocery and specialty channels that can be sold under their proprietary brands or under a retail private label brand. Some of their customers include Walmart; K-Mart; Bed, Bath & Beyond; Sam’s Club; Babies R Us; Buy Buy Baby; Christmas Tree Shops; Dollar General; Aldi; O’Reilly Auto Parts; and AutoZone. This family-owned company, founded in 1915 in St. Louis, Missouri, develops innovative solutions to everyday dilemmas.

Danco:
Danco is one of the largest plumbing repair, replacement and remodel suppliers in the home improvement industry. They are largely focused on empowering Do It Yourself consumers with affordable plumbing products and solutions which create new and refreshing décors for bathrooms and kitchens.

LSP:

Top Dog Direct:

Apex Tool Group:
Apex Tool Group, based in Sparks, Maryland, is one of the largest global manufacturers of industrial hand and power tools. Their 9,000 associates serve many global markets including automotive, industrial, energy, aerospace, electronics, hardware and commercial contracting.  They have leading brands that service all major channels of distribution and support the largest distribution outlets worldwide.

The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA)
The Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) is the leading trade association for companies who use direct-to-consumer marketing to sell products. Direct response has become a major $350 billion form of marketing in the U.S. Advertisers use infomercials and commercials to reach customers directly, and in turn have viewers pick up the phone to order, sometimes in seconds. ERA members are responsible for producing or distributing many popular and well-known products like The Snuggie™, P90X®, Oxiclean®, Bowflex®, Tony Little's Ab Isolator®, Total Gym®, MagicJack™ and Topsy Turvy® to name a few.

Sponsored by the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), exhibitors will have the opportunity to present their ideas to a panel of TV marketing professionals, experienced in the fields of infomercials and home shopping.  Inventors will receive feedback and an opportunity to qualify for the InventHelp-INPEX New Product Showcase at the 2017 ERA D2C Convention October 2-5, 2017 in Las Vegas.
