Howard Lim

David R.E. Hale

Chief Executive Officer, Smart Sourcing, Inc.

David R.E. Hale has over 20 years of senior level experience in optimizing and synchronizing a broad spectrum of financial and operational programs in both the U.S and China. Mr. Hale was named CEO of Smart Sourcing, Inc. in 2002, after having been the Chief Operating Officer from 2000-2001. Prior to Smart Sourcing, Mr Hale was at Electronic Hardware Corporation, a major supplier of engineered components for the aerospace and defense industry, and was responsible for launching and implementing the company’s first major strategic sourcing initiative.

Prior to his civilian career, Mr. Hale served over 32 years in the United States Army before retiring as a Major General. His military positions include: Commanding General of the US Army forces in Southeastern Europe, Deputy Commanding General and Chief of Staff of US Army Forces in the Pacific, Assistant Division Commander, Deputy Director for Politico-Military Affairs, and Joint Chiefs of Staff. He is a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm, and was awarded the Silver Star and Purple Heart.

Mr. Hale is a Dean’s List graduate of the United States Military Academy, West Point. Later, he was graduated number 1 in his class while achieving a Master of Science in Operations Research & Systems Analysis. He was an assistant professor at West Point teaching business management, engineering, and systems analysis and was the first recipient of the Department of Defense Excellence in Education Award for outstanding achievement as a teacher.

Dara Trujillo

Professionally: Dara Trujillo is an Executive with 25+ years of experience: 10 years at traditional Brick and Morter-overseeing 28 department stores, directing fashion, Private Label development, Public Relations and Personal Shopping; 15 years with the Walt Disney Company’s theme park division overseeing new merchandise synergy and concepts, brand strategy development, and signature events. Concepts included master planning the new Disney Springs, development of the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutqiue, Goofy’s Candy Company, Once Upon a Toy, The Pirates League and she lead the charge with the company’s Pin Trading and Vinylmation initiatives.

In her current role with HSN, as Vice President of Merchandise New Business Development, Dara oversees company initiatives, new business opportunities and manages the American Dream’s Program which highlights entrepreneurs, their story and products and gives them live TV experience selling their products. Dara is always on the lookout for an amazing product and a passionate entrepreneur behind the product. Fariza Javed

Subsequently, she has set up a number of businesses in the last decade in variety of sectors from hair and beauty, to costume jewelry, to name a few.  She used her skills and expertise, as well as innovative techniques, to make the businesses stand out from the crowd. After achieving success in these areas, she then went on to challenge herself turning around failed businesses.

Hanif Khan

Began his career in I.T. designing air traffic control systems and then moved onto becoming very well known in the Real Estate industry. Hanif owned a number of successful real estate agencies and mentored and trained thousands of agents.

After his MBA, Hanif began investing into new and innovative businesses which then led him to exploring the wonderful world of distribution, manufacturing and retail. He has since built a phenomenal business that revolutionizes how new products are launched into retailers. The business is growing rapidly.

Hanif has personally experienced and gained an in-depth knowledge of the entire retail framework. This includes: invention, licensing, tooling, manufacturing, packaging, quality control, importing/exporting, merchandising, buyer's frustrations, retailing, and customer habits.  He speaks on stage around the world in front of thousands and does training in many areas from property, mindset, licensing, and understanding retailers.

Nicole Lininger

Nicole Lininger is Director of INPEX and Corporate Communications for InventHelp®. She has worked for InventHelp for 15 years, and her experience with inventors and new products make her an excellent resource. Nicole has daily interaction with a wide range of innovators, from “garage” inventors to top CEOs at Fortune 500 companies. 

Nicole travels the world attending new-product trade shows.  Stateside, she attends prominent industry shows including Toy Fair in New York City and the International Home and Housewares Show in Chicago. Nicole continues to produce an inventor-only pavilion at the ERA D2C annual convention in Las Vegas, an exclusive show for the direct-to-consumer industry. In addition, she travels abroad to attend international invention trade shows which include IENA in Nuremberg, Germany and INOVA in Zagreb, Croatia and Seoul International Invention Fair in Seoul, Korea.
