In December 2021, INPEX signed a share transfer agreement with Diamond Generating Europe B.V. (DGE-NL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corporation, and a DGE-NL subsidiary, acquiring a 15 percent interest in the Borssele III/IV offshore wind farm (fixed bottom) in March 2022. The Borssele III/IV offshore wind farm is located 22 kilometers off the coast of Westkapelle in the Netherlands and has operated commercially since January 2021 through the operating company Blauwwind II C.V., with an output scale of 731.5 megawatts (77 x 9.5 megawatt units).
