INPEX was awarded the block in the exploration block bid round held by ADNOC in 2018. As the operator, we drilled an exploratory well from May 2021, through which we discovered multiple conventional oil, condensate and gas reservoirs. Subsequently, aiming for early development and commencement of production, we proceeded with appraisal activities, and in June 2025, the Supreme Council for Financial and Economic Affairs (SCFEA) of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi granted production rights for this block to JODCO Exploration Limited, in which our company holds a 51% stake.
