INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) announced it will sponsor "LA FOLLE JOURNÉE TOKYO 2026," one of the world's largest classical music festivals to be held from May 3-5, 2026, at the Tokyo International Forum in Tokyo, Japan.
LA FOLLE JOURNÉE was founded in 1995 in Nantes, a port city in western France. The festival has held editions in Japan since 2005. The theme for 2026 is "LES FLEUVES - The Great River. With the great rivers that nourish the continents as its theme, we invite our audience on a "sound world tour" that takes them from Europe to Russia, America, India, and even China and Japan.
The event is open to everyone from infants to classical music followers who can enjoy performances of the highest standard by Japanese and foreign musicians at affordable prices. The festival will also include a variety of free events and participatory events, and the entire city, including the Tokyo International Forum, will be filled with music to create a festive atmosphere.
Furthermore, INPEX also sponsored the 94th Music Competition of Japan, and
plan to hold performances by musicians who have won the INPEX Prize at the competition on the special stage at the Pia Classic & "OTTAVA" booth.
