INPEX Holds KIDS DAY for Employees' Children

Sustainability

INPEX CORPORATION (INPEX) held its annual open house, KIDS DAY, for the children and families of employees on July 28 at its head office in Tokyo, Japan. Under the theme "Building a Warmer and Even More Inspiring INPEX Together," approximately 110 employees and family members participated in the event. The program was designed to help children gain a better understanding of the company and the work performed by their parents.

Children learned about INPEX's business and its role in supporting a stable energy supply through a company introduction session, exhibits displaying oil and rock samples, and a live online session with an overseas office. The livestream generated enthusiastic participation, with children asking numerous questions to employees working overseas. The children also toured their parents' workplaces and practiced exchanging business cards with employees, helping them gain a deeper understanding of the working environment of their family members. In addition, they enjoyed a wide variety of activities, including creating handmade employee ID-style cards, taking commemorative photographs at a photo spot, participating in a stamp rally and work-related quiz challenges throughout the office, enjoying a snack-catching game, and viewing displays of family portrait illustrations.

Feedback from the children included statements such as, "I want to work at INPEX when I grow up," and "I learned a lot about the company and would like to participate again next year."

INPEX will continue implementing social contribution activities including education and empowerment initiatives.
