Modern Slavery Act Statement

The INPEX Group implements initiatives to respect the human rights of all stakeholders, including those in its supply chains, in each country and region where it operates.

As part of these initiatives, we issue a Modern Slavery Act Statement pursuant to the United Kingdom Modern Slavery Act 2015^*1, which came into effect in October 2015.

As an energy development company with sites around the world, including the United Kingdom, this statement sets out the Group's policies, structures, and specific initiatives related to the prevention of slavery and human trafficking in the management of the Group's supply chain.

In addition, since FY2020, INPEX Operations Australia Pty Ltd has annually prepared and issued the INPEX Australia Modern Slavery Statement pursuant to the Australian Modern Slavery Act 2018. Furthermore, INPEX Idemitsu Norge AS performs due diligence regarding human rights and working conditions every year in compliance with the Norwegian Transparency Act, which came into effect in 2022, and has issued the Transparency Act Due Diligence Account since FY2022.

At the Group, we will continue to strive to enhance our human rights management. Through this, we will steadily live up to our social responsibilities to the local communities in which we operate, and we will contribute to the creation of a sustainable society.
